This is an important milestone for the Association, helping to protect the ISESA brand and ensuring that our name and logo can only be used in ways that reflect our values, standards, and mission.
For professional organisations such as ISESA, trademark protection is particularly important. It safeguards the reputation and credibility that members have worked hard to build, helps prevent unauthorised or misleading use of the Association’s identity, and provides greater confidence for members, partners, employers, and the public when engaging with ISESA.
Sincere thanks to Kate Pumpa for her work in guiding this process.
We are also pleased to share that our accreditation titles, Advanced Accredited Sport Scientist and Accredited Sport and Exercise Scientist, are currently under review for trademark registration.
Stay tuned for further updates.
