The Centre for Health Behaviour Research at SETU is recruiting a full-time research assistant to work across two exciting projects.
Men United: The project will establish the feasibility of a football-based physical activity intervention designed for men following a prostate cancer diagnosis. The research is funded by the Irish Cancer Society and the research assistant will work under the direction of PI, Dr. Patricia Sheehan.
Physical Activity for People with Disability Programme Evaluation: The project will evaluate the implementation and impact of programmes delivered to promote physical activity among people with disability across a number of Local Sports Partnerships. The programme is funded by Sport Ireland, coordinated by Active Carlow and led by PI Dr. Joey Murphy.
