The Department of Sport, Exercise & Nutrition delivers a range of undergraduate honours degree programmes and conducts post-graduate research to PhD level in several fields. The technician will work specifically in the Sport and Exercise Science teaching and research laboratory and associated locations.
The post involves working closely with academic staff, as well as coaches, athletes and the general public to help create a high-performance environment within ATU through the provision of laboratory support. The research laboratory provides a wide range of Sport and Exercise Science testing equipment.
The Department of Sport, Exercise & Nutrition provides commercial testing services to the general public and sports athletes/teams in a laboratory maintained in line the BASES (British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences) standards.
