Heather Boyle is an experienced sport and communications professional, with over 15 years working across high-performance sport, media, and athlete advocacy.

As Head of Communications and Athletes’ Commission Support at the Olympic Federation of Ireland, she leads on all aspects of communications strategy, including Games-time media operations, brand visibility, press liaison, and digital content delivery. She also supports the Athletes’ Commission, ensuring athlete voice is embedded in decision-making and governance structures.

A former international rower and cyclist, Heather competed at multiple World Rowing Championships and narrowly missed qualification for Athens 2004. She has previously worked in media teams at the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Paralympic Games, and since 2018 leads on all communications and media functions at the Olympic Games, from youth to senior level.

Her early career was in international finance, and she holds qualifications in Public Relations and a Master’s in Equality Studies. She is a strong advocate for equity in sport at all levels.
