Ian is co-Principal Investigator for the Irish Rugby Football Union IRIS injury epidemiology project\, and funded Principal Investigator with SFI Research Ireland. Ian lectured previously at Ulster University where he held a research fellowship jointly with golf’s R&A Rules Ltd.
