Skill Acquisition: Defining the domain and outlining a pathway to develop as a Skill Acquisition Specialist

This webinar will initially define the sport science discipline of Skill Acquisition, outline the scope of practice of a Skill Acquisition Specialist and present a model to guide applied practice. Subsequently, we will explore the process for gaining ISESA accreditation as a sport scientist specialising in Skill Acquisition.

A Fellow of the Higher Education Authority, I am committed to excellence and innovation in teaching. My research focuses on developing coaches and athletes, and enhances my practice as a sport scientist and the quality of my teaching.
